Don't miss the closing concert of the 9th Lisbon Conference — Chinese Music and Musical Instruments! This is an international event dedicated to the study and celebration of Chinese and Asian music. Founded in 2016, the conference takes place annually in Lisbon and Mafra, bringing together ethnomusicologists, musicologists, musicians, and academics from various countries. It combines scientific sessions with concerts and recitals, promoting the encounter between academic research and artistic practice. This concert is a rare opportunity to hear instruments such as the "guzheng," the "dizi," and the "huqin" in Portugal, and to hear the NOVA gamelan orchestra again at the National Museum of Music!
