Founded in 1982, the Mafra Choral Group, a mixed choir of four voices, is linked to major cultural events in the region. Although amateur, the activity of this choir has been intense, performing national and international concerts. Its curriculum includes the organization of six international festivals with the participation of choral groups from various countries, namely Spain, Angola, Timor, the United States, and Germany. It participated in the 500th anniversary celebrations of the village of Lajes do Pico, Azores. This time, it comes to the National Museum of Music to celebrate its 44th anniversary!
