Another concert in the Círculo Cycle, this concert features voices of diverse origins: Celise Manuel (Angola), Isabel Novella (Mozambique), and Carla Lima (Cape Verde). A tribute to the women who, through music and their symbolic presence, were pillars in the struggles for liberation and identity affirmation in Portuguese-speaking African countries. In this sonic and poetic celebration, we revisit and reimagine the repertoire of great female voices, weaving bridges between the past and the present with contemporary arrangements, moving reinterpretations, and original moments. The concert invites deep listening and a celebration of female ancestry, bringing to the stage stories of resistance, courage, and beauty expressed in song.
